This small poster hangs in the hallway just outside the youth room. I am sure for many of you this isn’t the first time you have read or heard this quote.
So as I pondering the implications of this quote I would like ask one simple question: As parents, does our lifestyle match with the fact we call ourselves followers of Christ?
If it does, great! But I suspect most of us would answer no and if our answer is no what implications does that have on our children? Does it push them away from Christianity when our lifestyle doesn’t mesh with who we say we are? I think we all need to take a long look at our lifestyle and see what doesn’t sync with who we claim to be and work hard to change it.
